Let’s start from the beginning.  What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, this is a chemical compound originating from the cannabis plant. It’s a naturally occurring substance that’s used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike its cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it’s not psychoactive.

What is Hemp?

The plant Cannabis sativa has two primary species, hemp and marijuana. Both contain CBD, but there’s a much higher percentage in hemp, which also has very low (less than 0.3%) levels of THC compared to marijuana.

Will it make me high?

No, CBD does not produce a euphoric “high” or psychoactive effect

How can I be sure that your CBD oil contains THC within the UK legal limit?

Firstly our CBD is derived from the Hemp plant which naturally contains low levels of THC.  Our growers test their CBD to ensure that it is within the UK legal limit but we then third party lab test the product to ensure its authenticy and THC level.

What is the Endocannabinoid system and how does CBD work with it?

Similar to our Nervous System, we have a system called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and it’s responsible for harmonizing our entire body and bringing us back into balance. Cannabidiol (CBD), the most abundant cannabinoid in hemp, nourishes the ECS so it can do its job.

What can CBD be used for?

Unfortunately we are not able to make any medical claims but there is more and more research emerging on the therapeutic benefits of CBD, we urge you to do your research and decide if CBD is right for you.
